Renewed Mind | renewed heart

There was a time about 3 years ago when all my social media accounts started growing at a rate I couldn't believe. I started seeing over 1K likes a day on my Facebook fan page, started selling more posters, created a "sexy" website that had over 9K subscribers. I was able to leave my full time job and work only from home. After about a year, however, I gained over 100K Instagram followers that cared primarily about my body. That was about it. I had a bunch of people that "supported" me, but only if it was of sexier pics that floated their boat.

Over the past 10 months, I've been actively pushing against the "empire" that was built purely around my sex appeal as that was never my intention. Furthermore, I wanted/want whatever images & posts of my body that was shown to be shown in a way that truly gives encouragement to women, to promote a better understanding that skin does NOT equal sex, and some other reasons that I'll need to focus on in another post. I've really been harnessing all that I have in me to help women, share what I've learned so that it can save others some struggle/pain, and do so in a way that can continue to reach people...just in a more lasting and meaningful way. Needless to say, my average likes per post went from 7K to 800. I've lost over 10K followers as opposed to gained them. The majority of the 172K that follow me are constantly badgering for "my old posts" and less posts of my life and what I love because "no one cares about how happy you are" (literally a comment I received). I'd ask that if you are one of the ones waiting for my "come back", please unfollow me now. I'm experiencing MY COME BACK to REAL life as I write this! I'd love to "weed out" the following I currently have to start fresh, per say, on my page with people that ACTUALLY care about why I post what I post, my heart in doing so, and all the aspects of my life...not just the booty and the pole.

God has been so incredibly good to us, to me, He gives what we seek even if we didn't know we were seeking it. My heart is so content in the midst of all that is happening right now and I look forward to continuing to share it with each of you.
