dayELEVEN | Trip to Novalja!
The first cafe we stopped by right when we arrived.
The restaurant next to that cafe.
The main center square
I loved the colors and the open space.
This is definitely more of a "tourist friendly" island. Even the sign for the restaurant is in English! (I don't know if I like it, or if I disliked it. The whole point of traveling to a different country is to GET AWAY from your way of life, right?)
Steve and his dad discussing lunch in the meat shop. (This was "hard" and super different for me to be in here!)
The restaurant where we stopped for lunch!
Discussing menu...you know, important stuff.
This was my meal. I LOVED IT. It was stroganoff...but I've never like it in America, and I LOVED it here.
This was Steve's PLATTER. lol
It lasted like, 3 minutes. (RIP)
The view of Novalja as we left in our boat.
This is a big sardine and anchovie ship!
We stopped and anchored the boat in the middle of the sea by some SMALL island (and I mean 30 feet wide, small), and swam!
We also took some scrubbies and cleaned the sides and bottom of the boat.
The guys were in the water at this point, so...SELFIE.
